Updated over 2 weeks ago

In PixAI, you can Animate your generation tasks or any images you've uploaded from your local device📷

💡If you are new to PixAI, please check this first.

💡For image generation, please read this.

You can find your tasks from generation panel or your task history in profile page.

Basic Animation(for non-xl models)

The basic animation feature (Classic and V2 nodes) is available only for non-XL models. For optimal results, we recommend using the Professional node, which is the image-to-video feature and will be explained later.

To animate an artwork made by non-xl models:

  1. Choose the task you want to animate in task history list

  2. Hover your mouse on the task you want to animate

  3. Click "Animate"

This will open a pop-up window with some tips and display the credit cost for animating this image.

Click "Animate" to proceed. Once you submit, PixAI will begin generating your animated image!

After the animation is complete, you will see a new task displaying the results of the image animation.

  • If you don't like the animation result, click on 'Re-roll' to make another animated generation with the same task as a reference.

  • You'll only be able to use Professional node for Re-roll.

💡Re-roll will cost extra credits!!

Instructions

Ready to get started? Follow these simple steps to create your first video:

  1. Access the Feature

By selecting the Image to Video feature at the top of your generation panel, or directly using this link.

  2. Select or Upload Image
You can either choose a task from your generation's history, or upload an image from your local device.

  3. Select Your Settings

Navigate to the settings bar on the right to adjust the settings for your video. You can configure the Model, Mode, and Duration settings.

    • Model: Select the video generation model. V1 and V2 primarily differ in resolution. V2.5 performs better with animated-style images, while V2.6 adheres more closely to prompts and ensures stable quality. We recommend using model V2.5 and V2.6.

    • Mode: Choose your preferred mode. Basic Mode ensures faster generation, while Professional Mode delivers higher quality results.

    • Video Duration: Select the length of your video. The current options range from a minimum of 5 seconds to a maximum of 10 seconds.

  4. Enter Prompts (Optional)

Prompts allow you to dictate the content of your video. You can input words to specify the elements or movements you want to include in the animation.

    • Tips for Writing Prompts:

      • Focus on the key components: subject and movement. Be sure to describe the movements that are likely to occur in your image, keeping in mind the laws of physics.

      • Keep your language simple; avoid overly complex words and sentences.

    • Comparison of Effects Based on Different Prompts

      • Incorporate Floating Elements: Specify elements you'd like to see floating in the video, such as snowflakes for a Christmas atmosphere, or maple leaves and flowers for a seasonal touch.

      • Suggest Movements: Include motions you'd like to see, such as blinking or other subtle animations.

      • Identify Moving Areas: Indicate specific areas you want to see in motion, such as lips or legs, to enhance the overall dynamic effect.

  5. Submit the Task

Click on Submit, and your video will be ready in just a few minutes! An estimated completion time will be displayed for your reference. Please note that the Show Demo button is intended for showcasing the animations made by PixAI officials, rather than demonstrating the video you are about to generate.

  6. View Your Video

Once the generation process is complete, your video will be displayed in the generation panel. You can play the video directly from the panel to check the quality and details before sharing or downloading. If you need to make any adjustments, you can return to the settings and regenerate as needed.

After finalizing your settings, the required credits for generation will be displayed.

  7. Export and Share

You can choose to publish your video on PixAI or download it to your local device for sharing on social media platforms or with friends and family.
